Making money in "boring markets" with grid trading is true skill

This time, the grid was set very "boringly." At that time, the coin price had been consolidating for several days, and community discussion was extremely low, but I thought this was an environment suitable for grid trading. My logic is: trend markets rely on judgment, while ranging markets rely on mechanisms.

I set a relatively conservative medium-density grid, deliberately widening the upper and lower boundaries, preferring fewer transactions rather than being wiped out by a false breakout. During the process, the market did experience a quick surge once, but it did not break through the upper grid boundary and was quickly pushed back.
Looking back, this grid yielded modest profits, but the key is stability and almost no emotional consumption. The biggest takeaway is not profit, but the re-affirmation: the enemy of grid trading is not volatility, but greed.

Summary of experience: if you are opening a grid while watching the chart and thinking about "changing parameters," then grid trading loses its meaning for you.
