TF Securities: CES2025 focuses on the release of new AI terminal products and technological innovation

Caizhong Society News, January 3rd - TF Securities released a research report stating that the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025) will be held in Las Vegas from January 7th to 10th, 2025. It is expected that the number of participating companies, products, and registered attendees will reach a new high, covering 160 countries and 309 companies in the Fortune 500, of which 60% of the total registered attendees are senior level. The exhibition will cover multiple fields such as audio/video, gaming, Metaverse, autonomous driving, internet of things, smart cities, agricultural technology, digital health, smart homes, food technology, lifestyle, AI products, etc. Continuing the hottest theme of AI in CES 2024, it is expected that CES 2025 will have more products and technologies on display. Other themes include sustainable development and green technology, automotive technology and advanced transportation technology, digital health, smart home devices, virtual reality, and augmented reality.

In the 2024 CES exhibition, AI terminals blossomed, and it is expected to continue in 2025. Looking back at the 2024 CES exhibition, manufacturers including smart wearables and smart homes have released new products. According to the data from the World Internet Conference, Sennheiser demonstrated the MomentumSportTWS sports earphones that can monitor health data in real time, and Invoxia launched the Minitail wearable tracker designed for cats and dogs. In terms of smart homes, Samsung released the 2024 Bespoke series 4-door Flex refrigerator, which provides users with food information inside the refrigerator through intelligent internal cameras and AI models. XGIMIAladdin launched by JMGO combines hanging projection and smart home ceiling lights into one.

Smart glasses are the core terminal for AI technology landing, and the interactive experience is expected to continue to upgrade. Smart glasses have made breakthroughs at CES2024, representing a fashionable alternative to traditional frames and headphones. It can still provide eye-catching immersive functions, such as onboard artificial intelligence, cameras for live streaming and video conferencing, and even built-in ear-worn solutions. Taking MOJIE’s ultra-lightweight multi-color AR+AI glasses as an example from the 2025 CES Innovation List, the product has a resin diffraction waveguide as its core, weighing only 49 grams, making it the lightest dual-eye multi-color smart glasses in the world. On January 6, 2025, the CEO of NVIDIA will deliver a keynote speech at the CES exhibition; according to techradar’s prediction, Nvidia is expected to launch the next generation Blackwell GeForce graphics cards, including the flagship RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, both of which are expected to achieve performance improvements. AMD is expected to release new products including RDNA 4 graphics cards, more Ryzen 9000 processors (including new 3DV-Cache products), and a large number of APUs, which are expected to drive the development of thin and light gaming laptops and handheld gaming devices. According to the CES 2025 AI and computer hardware award product list, AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, used in the laptop Copilot+, features a neural processing unit (NPU) that provides 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of AI processing power.

TF Securities believes that with the landing of AI applications at the terminal, it is expected to open up rapid growth in AIOT demand; SOC, as the core chip technology innovation + AI demand, is expected to drive AISOC volume and price to rise together; Rich visual downstream application scenarios are expected to drive the increase in demand for visual SOC and CIS.
