Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin frequently makes headlines with his altcoin transactions.
At this point, Buterin finally affected prices with his sales transactions. Accordingly, Buterin first sold a memecoin called LEDOG (DOG) for 5,204 ETH (approximately worth $18,900).
Buterin still holds approximately 8T DOG worth 483,000 dollars.
The meme coin named DOG was sent to Vitalik Buterin by the team.
Buterin also sold in the second memecoin called Estee (ESTEE). According to Arkham data, Buterin sold 50.54 billion ESTEE for 116,306 USDC.
After these sales, the prices of these meme coins did not decrease. On the contrary, after Buterin’s transactions, the price of ESTEE and DOG increased. According to the data, the price of ESTEE increased by over 200%, and DOG increased by over 50%.
Vitalik has previously sold meme coins sent to him as a gift, such as DOG, and used it for charitable purposes.
