Though meme coins slipped slightly in overall sector rankings according to Artemis Terminal, they still managed to grow 4.4% in value over the past day. Dogecoin (DOGE), the reigning champion of meme coins and its longest-standing player, leaped 6.8% on Friday, landing at $0.4296—flirting with the 50-cent threshold. As of now, DOGE boasts a towering market capitalization of $63.29 billion, securing its spot as the seventh-largest asset in the vast crypto market.

Shiba inu (SHIB) climbed 3% today, trading at $0.00002625 per token. With this price, SHIB commands a market valuation of $15.41 billion, ranking it as the 14th largest coin in the entire $3.4 trillion crypto sphere. Meanwhile, pepe (PEPE), holding the position as the third-largest meme coin by market cap, saw a 4.6% increase in the last 24 hours, with each PEPE valued at $0.00002075. This puts PEPE’s total market valuation at $8.71 billion as of Friday.

Among the top ten meme coin assets, Solana‘s bonk (BONK) claimed the biggest daily increase, soaring by 10%. But it’s the lesser-known and newly launched coins that truly stole the show—GOUT rocketed 64.7%, MEMEAI shot up 52.2%, and AI16Z climbed 47.3%. According to Coingecko, the crypto market recorded a whopping $228.213 billion in global trade volume over the past day, with meme coin transactions contributing $25.6 billion. Over the last 90 days, meme coins have taken center stage, with the top six achieving the most significant gains.

Leading the three-month gainers is goatseus maximus (GOAT), exploding by an incredible 11,917.42% to reach $0.872661. Following closely is spx6900 (SPX), which surged 6,991.85% to $0.68392. The third spot belongs to act i: the ai prophecy (ACT), climbing 4,955.33% to $0.678317.

In fourth place is neiro (NEIRO), up 3,985.12% to $0.001951. Peanut the squirrel (PNUT) lands in fifth with a 1,580.34% jump to $1.274643. Rounding out the list is moo deng (MOODENG), which rose 1,545.95%, bringing its price to $0.388443. These remarkable gains highlight the explosive growth potential in the cryptocurrency market, particularly among lesser-known tokens.
