Jinshi data news on November 25th, local time on the 24th, Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Mikati and Lebanese Speaker of the National Assembly Berry met with visiting EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell in the Lebanese capital Beirut. Borrell called for an immediate ceasefire by all parties and the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. Mikati emphasized to Borrell that pressure must be exerted on Israel to prevent its aggression against Lebanon and to achieve a ceasefire protocol. Lebanon hopes that Europe can provide assistance to Lebanon politically and economically.
