On-chain investigator ZachXBT posted: "UK threat actor Danny / Meech, also known as Danish Zulfiqar (Khan), appears to have been arrested by law enforcement and his crypto assets have been seized.
Currently, $18.58 million is being held at the following address:
0xb37d617716e46511E56FE07b885fBdD70119f768
I have been monitoring him previously and have confirmed that he, along with Malone, Veer, Chen, and Jeandiel, was involved in the $243 million theft from Genesis creditors that occurred in August 2024.
Danny was also involved in the Kroll SIM swap incident in August 2023, which resulted in the personal identity information of BlockFi, Genesis, and FTX creditors being leaked. This was followed by targeted social engineering scams that caused over $300 million in losses.
A few hours ago, I tracked multiple addresses associated with him, with these funds converging to the 0xb37d address in a similar pattern as other law enforcement seizures.
It is reported that Danny was last seen in Dubai. Allegedly, police raided one of his villas and arrested other individuals inside.
Multiple sources claim they have not responded to any messages in the past few days."
