The head of JPMorgan's digital asset division confirmed that the bank plans to engage in cryptocurrency trading, but currently has no plans to launch custody services. Instead, JPMorgan is considering partnering with third-party custodians to support its increasingly expanding digital asset business.

Large banks are gradually lifting restrictions on Bitcoin ownership to broaden accessibility for customers. Meanwhile, major payment corporations acknowledge that Bitcoin and related cryptocurrencies will significantly help them expand their market reach through new integrations.

In addition, cryptocurrency exchanges are collaborating with many countries to support the purchase of Bitcoin for national reserves, demonstrating the increasing interest of governments in parallel with the wave of acceptance from traditional financial institutions.
