Netflix is streaming in the UK and Ireland the show The House of Streams, featuring eight famous Twitch streamers with a total of over 4 million followers, competing for a prize of 1 Bitcoin (~104,000 USD). The show is set to premiere on June 18.

The Malta Film Commission produced the program, choosing Bitcoin as the main prize. Producer Mark Holland affirmed that the prize could not be cash or travel.

Netflix has produced many documentaries about cryptocurrency such as Trust No One and is developing a project about former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.

Meanwhile, streamers and cryptocurrency investors are continuously becoming targets of crime. A typical example is Kaitlyn Siragusa (Amouranth) who was targeted by a criminal group demanding cryptocurrency worth millions of USD.
