On the 7th, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that, during the 99th wave offensive of the “True Commitment-4” operation launched that day, it struck a U.S.-owned petrochemical integrated complex inside Saudi Arabia and some other key U.S. assets in the country. According to the statement, as reported by Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency, Iranian missiles also struck a container ship belonging to Israel. The ship had originally planned to use ports in the UAE to transport military equipment to Israel. This move was intended to warn other vessels that intended to cooperate with the United States and Israel.

Earlier that day, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it had launched the 99th wave offensive of the “True Commitment-4” operation, using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones to strike U.S. military bases in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz region, as well as Israel’s military staging areas and command-and-control centers. The latest round of strikes was aimed at responding to the enemy’s attack on large petrochemical integrated facilities in Iran’s southern Asaluyeh area. ( Xinhua News Agency )
