Focusing on the front line of production to deeply explore optimization potential, targeting detail shortcomings to solve practical operational problems, Liaoning Fangda Group Northeast Pharmaceutical has consistently adhered to the concept of innovation by all staff in recent years. They regard small improvements and minor innovations as key tools for reducing costs, increasing efficiency, improving quality, stabilizing production, and strengthening safety defenses. The company continuously encourages all employees to contribute good ideas and innovate cleverly based on their positions. Through practical, easy-to-implement, and quickly effective micro-innovations, they gather strong momentum for high-quality development. Since 2026, various production units and frontline sections have launched multiple pragmatic small improvements, with ongoing positive results.

At the beginning of this year, the exterior packaging workshop of Factory 103 focused on optimizing consumables for the intelligent packaging system. Addressing issues such as high procurement costs of original box sponge and inadequate density compatibility, technicians upgraded accessories during production breaks. They replaced the high-cost red single-sided adhesive sponge with a more cost-effective black box sponge, reducing individual material costs by over 260 yuan. The stability of adsorption and lifespan remained comparable to the original parts, achieving a win-win situation of stable production and cost reduction. Workers also cleverly used idle stainless steel plates and square tubes to optimize the material racks at the intermediate station at zero cost, greatly improving on-site turnover efficiency. In 2025 alone, this factory applied for 60 small improvements, with 57 already completed.

In terms of safety assurance and on-site optimization, Zhang Shigong, from the Water Supply Section of the Energy Guarantee Center, focused on improving the working environment. They carried out lighting renovations and simultaneously optimized wiring control schemes, creating a safer and more convenient working environment for frontline employees.

This frontline-driven innovation enthusiasm has long become a normal part of Northeast Pharmaceutical’s development. In 2025, employees targeted key areas such as process optimization, equipment efficiency enhancement, cost control, and energy saving. They submitted a total of 759 small improvement projects throughout the year, with 487 already implemented and 272 pending or in progress. Most projects involved minimal investment but generated considerable economic benefits, demonstrating the pragmatic value of frontline innovation.
