China-North Korea International Passenger Train to Resume Bidirectional Service Starting March 12

Starting from March 12, 2026, international passenger trains will operate bidirectionally between Beijing and Dandong in China and Pyongyang in North Korea. This will further promote personnel exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural交流 between China and North Korea, enhancing the well-being and friendship of the two peoples. The international passenger trains between Beijing and Pyongyang will run biweekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in both directions. Passengers can board at Beijing Station, Tianjin Station, Shanhaiguan Station, Shenyang Station, Dandong Station in China, and Pyongyang Station and Sinuiju Station in North Korea. Entry and exit procedures will be handled at the Dandong border in China and the Sinuiju border in North Korea. (China Railway)
