The semiconductor sector led the gains, with AMD rising over 8%, Intel up nearly 6%, and TSMC up over 4%. Most large tech stocks also increased, with Tesla, Netflix, and Apple rising over 2%, Microsoft and Amazon up more than 1%, and Nvidia and Meta slightly higher; Google declined slightly.
