HIA Announces Flight Operations Remain Suspended

Doha, Qatar: Hamad International Airport has issued a recent update stating that flight operations remain suspended and will resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace.

This was announced in a post by HIA on X this evening, March 1, 2026.

“The safety and well-being of our passengers and employees remain our top priority. This is a precautionary measure based on the latest developments in the region,” HIA said in a statement. HIA also advised passengers “not to proceed to the airport and to check with their respective airlines for latest flight information until further notice.”
