🪙 Dusting Attacks on the Ethereum Network Increase by 60%

After the Fusaka upgrade, the number of dusting attacks on Ethereum has sharply risen: they now account for about 11% of all transactions and 26% of active addresses.

🔎The reason — cheaper on-chain data and more affordable transfers from L2 to the mainnet. Malicious actors are actively taking advantage of this by sending micro-transfers (sometimes less than $0.01) to track and "poison" addresses with minimal gas costs.

At the same time, analysts emphasize that most of the activity growth remains organic, and Fusaka overall improves Ethereum's scalability.
