Bearish cryptocurrency signals: why BTC is losing support among short-term holders

Abstract generation in progress

Bitcoin is experiencing significant pressure amid changing market participant behavior. The current price around $92,38K shows a struggle to recover the $90 thousand level, but blockchain data paints a concerning picture.

Why short-term holders are starting to sell their positions

On-chain analysis shows that in recent days, the supply from investors who entered their positions during October’s rise and November’s decline has sharply increased. These participants are now nearly at breakeven, creating a potential risk of widespread profit-taking with any unfavorable movement.

According to analysts, the increase in short-term holder inflows is not due to active revaluation of positions but rather a passive shift in market sentiment. New buyers are cautious, as evidenced by the sparse liquidity books and low purchase volumes on daily candles.

Cryptocurrency signals indicate support vulnerability

The scenario of falling below $80 thousand is becoming increasingly likely. If this level is broken, large holders may begin actively locking in profits, creating a cascade effect that could shake out the remaining weak holders.

Demand is clearly insufficient to stabilize the price within the current range, and supply is putting downward pressure on quotes. This imbalance between issuers and buyers is a classic sign of bearish consolidation ahead of a more serious correction movement.
