Read more books, and anxiety will really feel lighter

It's not that books can directly solve problems, but they can pull your mind out of the "mess right in front of you." Things like market trends, work, and relationships—staring at them makes you more narrow-minded and anxious the more you think about them. People feel like they’re trapped in a small room, going in circles. Books provide you with a larger coordinate system, helping you realize that many pains are not unique to you, and many dilemmas are not unsolvable.

When reading, your focus becomes clearer. The impulse of "I must do something immediately" slows down, and the noise in your mind diminishes a bit. More importantly, books remind you: many things in life just take time, rushing is useless.

Anxiety won't disappear out of thin air; life will still be difficult when it’s meant to be. It’s just that when your mind has more structure and perspective, many things don’t seem so frightening. Read a little, stay steady, at least you won’t be driven by emotions.
