Changing the countdown date is a tactic we've seen fail quite a few times in history. However, if Zama's move is truly to warm up for Season 5, it at least indicates a desire for more transparent mechanism design, which is worth acknowledging. I'm just worried that in the end, it might turn into another "incentive incompatibility" drama, and the community consensus will have to be re-negotiated again.
