I want to discuss a question with everyone—have I been setting my filtering standards too strictly lately, or is the overall content quality in the crypto space really declining?

I looked at a 24-hour data report and found that very few tweets meet the high-value criteria; only a handful contain substantial information, while the rest are mostly emotional venting or contain very low information density. In the end, fewer than 10 effective tweets were filtered out.

This is an interesting phenomenon—are there issues on the supply side of information, or do we have different definitions of "valuable content"? The quality of discussions in the crypto community really needs some reflection.

Oh brother, I'm going through this too. After 24 hours, there are only a few posts worth reading, it's really unbelievable. But speaking of which, what does "valuable" even mean? Your valuable insights might be my trash. The crypto world has always been like this, the signal-to-noise ratio has long been off the charts, there's nothing to reflect on, just get used to it. It doesn't matter how strict the filtering criteria are, the key is to find those few people who truly have something to say. Don't expect the whole community.

ngl the signal-to-noise ratio in crypto twitter rn is absolutely cooked. ran similar analysis last week and got like 8 tweets worth keeping out of 400+... that's not a you problem tho

Honestly, finding 10 valuable tweet threads is not easy, I feel the same way. Come on, most of them are just mindless calls and copy-paste jobs. Instead of filtering, it's better to just follow those few reliable people. The real issue might not be about strict standards, but that the content is truly shallow. Quality decline? It's been declining for years, I'm used to it. The scarcity of effective content is a fact, but that's actually a good thing—purifies my feed. The crypto world is always 80% trash and 20% gold; just learn to filter. Basically, it's still because too many people are coming in with varying levels of quality.

But rather than complaining about supply, it's better to say that our threshold for "valuable content" is getting higher and higher.
