Your 3-year-old gelding lines up in a HGW2BN4PM at 8:05 PM EST on Tuesday, and he won’t face an easier field this year.

He’s coming off the back of a disappointing run at The Meadows but now gains the guidance of Ridge Warren, who should be able to give Lochlan a much more composed drive.

The formlines suggest that Lochlan and Federer are the two standouts in this race, although both have been dealt tough draws.

Meltdown Monte finished 2½L further off Captain Moore than Lochlan did two starts back. Meanwhile, both Lennon Hanover and TheMaskedCrusader N have finished behind Currys Flurry, a horse Lochlan has beaten twice this year.

Had Lochlan drawn a more favorable gate, he’d be a massive chance of upsetting the handicapper. From PP#7, we’ll be relying on Ridge to work some magic and find him a good spot in the running.
