Take profits in batches to secure gains. Pull out principal and let profits ride to avoid losses. Also need stop-losses. This coin depends on the trend - only held on if it crashes hard, didn't sell until it dropped to the 0.5 range, then sold 75%. Left the rest hanging to find the next high. Coins like this are doomed eventually. Not impossible it could pump, but even if it does, I'd just take profits with a light position.
