Odaily Planet Daily News The Boston branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has called on individuals who may have been affected by Cryptocurrency fraud to actively participate in the ongoing investigation.
The bureau explained that the leaders of four cryptocurrency companies and four market makers are facing charges related to fraud and market manipulation. These individuals create false volume by coordinating trades, misleading investors, artificially driving up cryptocurrency prices, and engaging in ‘fake trading’. The scheme targets several cryptocurrencies, including Saitama, Saitarealty, Saitachain, Robo Inu, VZZN, Lillian Finance, and Nexfund AI.
The FBI states, ‘If you buy or sell any of the aforementioned Crypto Assets or believe you may be affected by such actions in any other way, please contact us. The FBI’s legal authority is to identify the victims of federal crimes under investigation. Victims may be eligible for certain services, compensation, and rights as provided by federal and/or state laws.’ (Bitcoin.com)
