Standard Chartered Bank plans to integrate Zodia crypto custody services into its corporate investment banking division

Gate News, April 8, according to Bloomberg, Standard Chartered is seeking to restructure and consolidate some of the operations of its majority-owned Zodia Custody Ltd. The bank plans to integrate Zodia’s cryptocurrency custody business into the department within its corporate and investment bank that provides similar services. Insiders say an announcement regarding the restructuring plan could be released within this month. Under the options Standard Chartered is considering, Zodia Custody will continue operating as an independent crypto-asset custody software-as-a-service (SaaS) company.
