Gate News message: On March 31, the full-chain liquidity allocation network StakeStone announced that the QR code payment functionality of its Stone Wallet has officially launched. The feature connects to the existing QR code payment infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to lower the barrier to using crypto payments. Stone Wallet adopts a zero-fee model, waiving account opening fees, annual fees, Gas fees, and transaction fees. It is mainly aimed at retail users and groups underserved by traditional financial services. StakeStone said that Stone Wallet is the first crypto product to integrate Singapore’s PayNow system. In addition, the service also supports major payment standards such as Thailand’s PromptPay and Cambodia’s Bakong. It has already been put into use in more than 10 countries and regions including Vietnam, Laos, the Philippines, and Mongolia.
