Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Some ships pass through the Strait of Hormuz after coordination

In responding to concerns raised about Europe and other parties over fuel price increases and rising Gulf shipping costs, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei said that Iran is not responsible for the current situation, and does not want people in other countries to bear pressure due to increases in fuel or food prices. Baghaei also said that currently, while ensuring security, Iran manages passage for vessels that do not belong to hostile parties. Over the past few days, some ships have transited the Strait of Hormuz after coordinating with Iran’s relevant authorities. (CCTV News)
