Trump Says He's Negotiating with Iran to End Conflict While US-Iran-Israel Trilateral Strikes Continue

Gate News reports that on March 24, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. is engaged in negotiations with Iran aimed at ending the conflict, but offensive actions are ongoing. Iran launched missile and drone attacks overnight on cities including Eilat, Dimona, and Tel Aviv in Israel, as well as U.S. military bases in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia reported intercepting a drone in the eastern region, Kuwait said some power lines stopped operating after the Iranian attacks, and Bahrain also sounded alarms. Meanwhile, the U.S. and Israel launched counterattacks against Iran, damaging a natural gas pressure regulation plant and an administrative building in the central city of Isfahan. A pipeline supplying natural gas to the Khorramshahr combined cycle power plant in southwestern Iran was also attacked. Previously, Trump had delayed a decision to attack Iran’s energy infrastructure.
