Gate News Report, March 16 — Iran’s Foreign Minister, Amir Abdollahian, stated that his last contact with U.S. Special Envoy Wittekov occurred before the U.S. decided to launch another illegal military strike against Iran and end diplomatic efforts. Abdollahian emphasized that any claims of recent contact between the two sides seem to be just to mislead oil traders and the public. Previously, U.S. media cited multiple U.S. officials and informed sources as saying that a direct communication channel between Wittekov and Abdollahian had been reactivated recently.
