Gate News: On March 16, the Solana network improvement proposal SIMD-0266 was approved. Proposed by Anza last year, the core idea is to introduce p-token (a more efficient token model), which can increase the computational efficiency of Solana transactions and payments by up to 19 times, significantly reducing token transfer costs and enhancing network capacity. This upgrade is expected to be deployed to the mainnet in April of this year.
