ChainCatcher Nachrichten, laut CoinDesk-Bericht zeigt der neueste Bericht des Blockchain-Intelligence-Unternehmens TRM Labs, dass das Gesamtvolumen der Stablecoin-Transaktionen voraussichtlich bis 2025 mindestens 35 Billionen US-Dollar erreichen wird (ein Anstieg um fast 20 % gegenüber 27,5 Billionen US-Dollar im Jahr 2024), wobei der Anteil illegaler Aktivitäten bei weniger als 0,5 % (etwa 0,4 %) bleibt.
Der Bericht weist darauf hin, dass illegale Akteure etwa 141 Milliarden US-Dollar über Stablecoins empfangen haben (höchststand in fünf Jahren), wobei dies hauptsächlich auf Sanktionsumgehung und groß angelegte Geldwäschenetzwerke konzentriert ist. Sanktionsbezogene Aktivitäten machen 86 % aller illegalen Krypto-Transaktionen aus, wobei die russisch verbundene Rubel-gekoppelte Stablecoin A7A5 72 Milliarden US-Dollar an illegalen Zuflüssen verarbeitet hat (dominiert). Trotz des Anstiegs des absoluten illegalen Betrags sinkt der Anteil, was auf das explosionsartige Wachstum legaler Nutzung (wie Zahlungen und Abrechnungen) hinweist: Im Jahr 2025 übersteigen die monatlichen Transaktionsvolumina mehrfach 1 Billion US-Dollar.
