CARV In-Depth Interpretation: Cashie 2.0 Integrates x402 to Convert Social Capital into On-Chain Value

As CARV drives Sovereign AI Beings, we have come to realize a key fact: the value of the future comes not only from data and computing power, but also from every real person.

CARV’s AI Being roadmap paints a picture of the future:

AI is no longer just a tool, but an extension of the individual’s autonomy in the digital world—driven by trusted identities and private contexts, capable of replacing users to participate in real economic activities.

To achieve this, AI must connect two systems that were previously independent of each other:

Social ledger and economic ledger.

Cashie was born in the process of opening up these two worlds.

Cashie was originally built as a “socially native on-chain payment tool,” but its capabilities have gone far beyond what was originally envisioned. Today, Cashie has evolved into a programmable execution layer that allows AI agents, creators, and communities to not only participate in the market, but also actively initiate and drive market construction and growth.

Within CARV’s more complete modular agent infrastructure – including CARV ID (ERC-7231), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the new Shielded Mind privacy upgrade – Cashie 2.0 is able to transform social behavior into verifiable, automated, and privacy-preserving on-chain incentives.

It’s no longer just a tool, it’s a protocol.

Core pain point: The insurmountable gap between the social ecosystem and the on-chain ecosystem

Over the past decade, Web3 teams have been trying to turn attention into real action through airdrops, tasks, incentives, and more. But most attempts fail to be accurate, scalable, and trustworthy at the same time:

Airdrops often reward bots rather than real supporters.

On-chain operations cannot capture real impact, which remains off-chain.

The lack of automation in manual distribution not only complicates the developer process but also opens up opportunities for sybil attacks.

Both systems have been speaking different languages:

Social ledger: Recorded through likes, retweets, and follows, full of real human signals, but closed in the Web2 platform.

Economic Ledger: Blockchain is transparent, programmable, but out of touch with the real world.

Cashie is the bridge that connects the two.

Cashie’s positioning in the CARV AI Being technology stack

In CARV’s AI Being architecture, agents’ capabilities depend on the context they can access and the environment in which they can perform their tasks. Through the Shielded Mind mainnet upgrade, AI agents already have private reasoning capabilities. With CARV ID (ERC-7231), they have a verifiable identity; And with Cashie, they can finally perform truly meaningful, social behavior-based actions on-chain.

This unlocks brand new abilities:

AI Beings is capable of monitoring social sentiment in real-time and programmatically triggering community incentives.

Users can bind their Twitter/X accounts to their CARV ID to receive automatically distributed on-chain rewards.

Project parties can build communities based on verifiable activities rather than relying on guesswork or broad predictions.

Cashie has allowed AI to truly evolve from a “reactive responder” to an “economic player.”

This marks a crucial step in CARV’s roadmap to create a sovereign AI Being, especially in the Genesis Evolution (initial evolution stage).

How Cashie 2.0 Works: Three Core Pillars

The architecture of Cashie 2.0 consists of three core pillars:

x402 Payment - Pledge mechanism

Every Cashie event starts with an ERC-3009 signature, and the project team or KOL makes a financial commitment to the event. This signature is the “X-Payment” proof, which is verified on-chain. No gas required, no manual transfers, it ensures that funds are locked and a fully automated distribution process can be implemented later.

CARV ID - The Proof

How do I reward a retweet or other social interaction? Traditional wallets cannot recognize @用户名 on social media, making it difficult for on-chain incentives to correspond to off-chain behavior.

Cashie solves this problem with the help of CARV ID: its ability to map social behavior, such as a single retweet of @user, to on-chain identities such as 0xABC. CARV ID is an identity oracle that connects the Social Ledger and the Economic Ledger.

ERC-8004 Agent - The Executor

Cashie is not a single-function bot, but rather an AI-executed agent consisting of several modular tools, including:

Payment Tool: Used to verify fund commitments and automate fund transfers

Twitter Tool: Used to monitor and analyze interaction behavior on Twitter/X in real time

Raffle / Quest Tool: Used to automatically draw winners or check whether users have completed tasks

Distribution Tool: Used to automatically distribute on-chain rewards to eligible users

All processes are completed under a trustless, fully automated mechanism, without manual operation, and can effectively avoid abuse such as Sybil attacks.

Developer breakthrough point: Driving the rise of the Agents-to-Agents autonomous economy

To truly unlock the potential of sovereign AI Beings and drive decentralized collaboration, the underlying infrastructure must evolve quietly but thoroughly. While the outside world is more focused on AI agents and social events, it’s the innovation that really makes everything work.

With the release of Cashie 2.0, CARV brings a brand new developer stack:

An infrastructure that is not only programmable, but also agent-native for AI agents.

CARV x402 Facilitator: Protocol enhancement layer

In Casie, every action begins with a cryptographic pledge. But whether a promise is credible depends on the system behind it that verifies it. That’s why we’ve created CARV x402 Facilitator – a self-hosted, high-performance facilitator service designed for social events.

We solved a key challenge in the standard x402 (ERC-3009) process for this facilitator: state management of proof of payment.

With our Verify endpoint, we introduced a more robust state and nonce management layer that instantly rejects replayed signatures and provides high-throughput security by blocking duplicate settlement attempts at high speed before the transaction consumes gas.

We’ve opened up the facilitator interface so that any developer on Base can build their own x402-driven applications. Developers can access our online endpoints today:

Stateless endpoint: Used to validate x402 paymentPayload (ERC-3009 signature)

Stateful endpoints: Used to verify and execute on-chain settlements

AI-native API: “Proxy hire agent” with x402

True to the vision of ERC-8004 (Trustless Agents), Cashie 2.0 is not just a platform, but a programmable tool for other AI agents to call.

We have opened an AI-native HTTP API that fully implements the x402 protocol. This means that any other AI agent (from Virtual, Base, or any other ecosystem) can programmatically “hire Cashie” to perform an activity.

The process is as follows:

An AI agent makes a request to our API

Received a 402 Payment Required challenge

It then resubmits the request with its own X-Payment proof

This enables automated financial commitments and campaign initiation

The whole process is completed by the agent autonomy, forming a true agent-to-agent social business model.

Universal ERC-20 support based on TxHash verification

The Web3 world is fragmented by different token standards, and not every ERC-20 supports gasless approval or signature-based authorization. But Casie’s design philosophy is universal and compatible. We build Cashie for the entire Base ecosystem, not just for ERC-3009-enabled tokens.

Cashie has a built-in independent txHash verification API, allowing any project to initiate incentive activities with any ERC-20 token: the project only needs to complete a normal on-chain transfer and submit the txHash of the transaction as proof of funds. The system automatically completes on-chain verification, fund confirmation, and anti-replay protection.

This makes Cashie the most flexible and compatible social growth engine on Base, and will gradually open up universal token support capabilities to all developers.

What does this mean for users and developers?

For users (KOLs, community members, and even ordinary individuals):

No Threshold Incentives: Earn crypto rewards by interacting on X (e.g., retweeting, completing tasks) without manually submitting wallet addresses.

Identity Sovereignty: CARV ID ensures that your rewards are tied to a verified identity rather than an empty wallet.

Native Privacy: Thanks to the Shielded Mind environment, your actions and intentions are protected.

For developers:

Programmable social growth: You can build your own agents or use the Cashie API to launch automated campaigns, sweepstakes, tasks, and more.

No need to collect wallet addresses: With ERC-7231 and CARV IDs, user identities can be verified on-chain, eliminating the need to manually collect or manage wallets.

Composable Infrastructure: Build x402-based content permissions, bounty boards, or AI agent-driven incentive layers on top of Casie.

Cashie 2.0 Campaign

In order to truly reach users, CARV officially launched the Cashie 2.0 Campaign and set up a $45,000 reward pool to encourage creators and users to participate in a new experience of on-chain social incentives. Creators (such as KOLs and project teams) can set their own reward pools, event periods, and participation logic, and publish event links through a single social media post. Funds are authorized and automatically hosted through gas-free x402 signatures, followed by real-time monitoring of social behavior by the agent running environment, determining participation qualifications, determining winners, and directly completing on-chain settlements.

Participants only need to complete one identity verification with their social accounts and do not need to disclose their wallet information. The system automatically identifies eligibility and distributes rewards to its associated Base wallet, eliminating the need for manual wallet collection, forms, or gas payments, resulting in a truly frictionless participation experience.

Next steps

Cashie has empowered the activities of many creators and project parties in the Base ecosystem, but this is just the beginning. Next, Cashie will usher in a series of capability upgrades:

Self-hosted facilitators: Developers can deploy x402 services independently to build flexible social payment logic on Base.

AI Campaign Agents: Based on real-time trends and sentiment changes, AI agents can autonomously initiate campaigns for truly data-driven automated growth.

Enterprise-level integration: Launched an on-chain social growth SDK for marketing and growth teams, and provided deep access solutions for Telegram, Discord, and other channels.

Cashie SDK: Helps developers build their own incentive activity layer faster.

These capabilities will propel Cashie to become the core on-ramp to the CARV Agentic AI and Base Social Finance (SocialFi) ecosystem, no longer a simple token incentive, but a resource allocation to truly valuable, verifiable engagement behaviors.

The birth of Cashie 2.0 signifies a true paradigm shift: for the first time, it precisely connects social attention with on-chain incentives, ushering social capital into a new era of programmable and verifiable. Cashie is not just a tool, but an infrastructure for a programmable social economy:

AI agents perform tasks with clear intent,

Users are fairly rewarded for real interactions,

Developers can build new models of collaboration and growth.

As the CARV AI Being roadmap moves to the next stage, Cashie will be a key engine that connects “human-machine ↔” and “impact ↔ value”, opening up a new space for trustless collaboration.

The social ledger is finally really on the chain.
