Filecoin launches FilCDN to optimize data retrieval performance

Gate News bot message, the Filecoin network has officially launched FilCDN developed by the Space Meridian team. This new CDN system is specifically optimized for Filecoin data retrieval, improving content delivery efficiency and streamlining the Decentralization application development process.

FilCDN uses the PDP (Proof of Data Possession) transaction mechanism to support hot data retrieval, which solves the problem of high egress traffic costs faced by traditional storage providers (SP), and improves the retrieval compliance by 20 times.

Developers are now building applications using FilCDN through the Modular Worlds hackathon. Meanwhile, the Checker Network and Filecoin Spark continue to operate and make adjustments to support network transparency.
