Western warnt, dass angesichts eines verschlechterten Sicherheitsumfelds und der zunehmenden militärischen Rolle Großbritanniens in Europa die Einflussnahme auf die politische Haltung des Landes stärker werden könnte, bevor die nächste Wahl stattfindet. Er schlägt außerdem vor, Gelder aus Mixing-Diensten oder anonymen Quellen zu verbieten, Parteien nur Plattformen zu erlauben, die bei der FCA registriert sind, und Transaktionen innerhalb von 48 Stunden in Fiat-Währung umzuwandeln. Zudem fordert er die Einrichtung einer nationalen Polizeieinheit, die speziell die politische Finanzierung überwacht.
