Odaily Sternplanet-Tagesbericht: F2Pool-Mitbegründer Wang Chun äußerte sich auf der X-Plattform zu den jüngsten Schwankungen im Kryptowährungsmarktzyklus und sagte, dass Ethereum im April 2025 auf 1386 US-Dollar gefallen sei, aber nur vier Monate später auf 4956 US-Dollar gestiegen sei. Er betonte, dass der Markt zyklisch ist und Investoren sich nicht von kurzfristigen Panikstimmungen leiten lassen sollten.
Zuvor wies Wang Chun auch darauf hin, dass der Proof-of-Work (PoW)-Mechanismus die „Verfassung“ von Bitcoin sei. Es sei wichtig, die Mining-Mechanismen und die zentrale Rolle der Miner bei der Governance des Bitcoin-Netzwerks zu respektieren. Ohne die Unterstützung der Miner sei die Aktivierung von SegWit schwierig, ebenso wie die Umsetzung des Lightning-Netzwerks. Miner sind eine wichtige Kraft zur Aufrechterhaltung der Sicherheit und Stabilität des Bitcoin-Netzwerks und haben in mehreren kontroversen Ereignissen eine Schlüsselrolle gespielt, darunter der Kampf um die Hash-Rate bei Bitmain, die Fork-Positionen im Zusammenhang mit Roger Ver, die Debatte um die Identität von Satoshi Nakamoto durch Craig Wright sowie der von einigen Gemeinschaften als Farce betrachtete BIP-110-Vorschlag.
