The original author of the meme coin TROLL: does not intend to participate in meme coins based on his work, nor will take legal action.
According to BlockBeats news on August 7, as reported by Decrypt, Carlos Ramirez (known online as Whynne, the creator of Trollface) stated in his first interview in ten years that he has “no intention” of participating in the surging Solana meme coin based on his creation, as the capitalist nature of cryptocurrency interferes with artistic expression. Whynne mentioned that he has been receiving tokens related to the Trollface meme “constantly” and does not want to get involved, nor will he take legal action against the rising Troll meme coin. In the past two weeks, the market capitalization of the meme coin TROLL has surged by over 1050%.
