【BlockBeats】According to on-chain address monitoring data from the Hyperliquid platform, multiple large position holders experienced significant account movements on January 8th.

The address labeled “BTC OG Insider Whale” saw its total unrealized profit significantly narrow, dropping from $27 million to $7.8 million. This address primarily holds ETH long positions with current unrealized profits of $4.8 million, average entry price of $3,147, and position size of approximately $660 million. However, its BTC long position has fallen below the cost price of $91,500, with unrealized losses of $170,000, and total account holdings of approximately $806 million. This address currently ranks in the top three of ETH, BTC, and SOL long leaderboards on Hyperliquid.

Another key monitored “CZ Counterparty” account faced difficulties with reverse positions. Its ETH long position turned from profit to loss, with unrealized losses of $1.08 million and position size of $181 million at an average price of $3,190. Meanwhile, this address also holds a large XRP long position worth $84.4 million, currently experiencing unrealized losses of $4.62 million. This address is currently the largest XRP long holder on Hyperliquid.

In the short camp, the “ZEC Largest Short” address continues to adjust its position strategy. Recently, it took profits on approximately $1.4 million of MON short positions while increasing WLFI short positions to a current size of about $700,000. Notably, its ETH short position reversed to profitability with unrealized gains of $2.95 million, position size of $146 million, and average price of $3,239. This address’s total short positions reach approximately $183 million, becoming the platform’s largest short holder in ETH, ZEC, and MON.

The most notable change comes from “Altcoin Short Squadron Leader.” This address has continuously added to its BTC short positions, which have reached $8.2 million at an average price of $91,800. Meanwhile, its DOGE short positions stand at approximately $1.62 million at an average price of $0.147. This address is also the largest short holder of LIT coin on Hyperliquid with positions of approximately $14.4 million, currently experiencing unrealized losses of $1.9 million.

Additionally, the “pension-usdt.eth” account opened a 3x leveraged ETH short position, currently sitting on unrealized losses of $800,000 with a position size of $63.5 million at an average price of $3,136 and liquidation price set at $4,547.

“Strategy Counterparty” continues to add to its FARTCOIN short positions, reaching $360,000. This address’s main holding is BTC short positions at approximately $146 million with an average price of $91,300 and unrealized losses of $220,000, now ranking as the largest BTC short whale on Hyperliquid with total account holdings reaching $285 million.
