🚨 FTX Will Start Paying Creditors on February 18, 2025! 🚨
FTX Digital Markets, FTX's branch in the Bahamas, will begin making payments to creditors starting on February 18, 2025.
🔹 Who will be paid first?
✅ Creditors with claims under $50,000 will receive 100% of their funds back + 9% interest per year from November 11, 2022.
✅ Distribution process will be conducted through BitGo, a crypto asset custodian platform.
🔹 What about large creditors?
⚠️ Creditors with larger claims still do not have a definite schedule for payment.
🔹 Things to Know:
📌 Refunds are calculated based on the asset price in November 2022.
📌 For example, Bitcoin was around $17,000 at that time, while now it's approaching $100,000.
📌 It means that the creditor does not benefit from the increase in asset prices after November 2022.
🔗 Creditors are advised to check their email or contact FTX's official representative for further information.
