By the end of 2025, Industrial Bank’s total assets reached 11.09 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.58% compared to the end of the previous year; annual operating income was 110.9k yuan, up 0.24% year-on-year; net profit attributable to the parent was 212.74B yuan, up 0.34%. Meanwhile, the non-performing loan ratio was 1.08%, and the provision coverage ratio was 228.41%.

Asset quality remains generally stable, with the non-performing rate maintained at a relatively low level of 1.08%. Over the past five years, the non-performing rate has decreased from 1.25% to 1.08%, and the provision coverage ratio has increased from 218.83% to 228.41%.

Industrial Bank has clearly defined the next phase of development with the keyword “Five Modernizations” — digital intelligence, greenization, internationalization, integration, and ecologicalization. At the same time, focusing on building a modern industrial system, the bank continues to enhance its “Four Business Cards”: technology finance, green finance, wealth management banking, and investment banking, strengthening comprehensive financial services along the innovation chain, supply chain, equity chain, capital chain, and talent chain.

Specifically, Industrial Bank’s strongest traditional advantages remain green finance and corporate industry finance. By 2025, loans in technology finance and green finance both exceeded one trillion yuan. The president further disclosed that the balances of medium- and long-term loans in technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, and manufacturing increased by 18.47%, 19.05%, 7.22%, and 14.91% respectively compared to the end of the previous year.

Industrial Bank has always emphasized the “Commercial Bank + Investment Bank” model, which it regards as a key strategic approach. Both the large investment bank FPA and the transformation investment bank FPA achieved growth of over 7%. Key products such as non-financial bonds, offshore bonds underwriting, M&A financing, and syndicate loans continue to lead the industry. Through a combination of “loans + bonds + M&A + syndicates + asset management,” the bank deepens full-cycle corporate services.

Artificial Intelligence: Industrial Bank’s positioning of AI is quite high. In terms of implementation, their AI focuses more on core banking functions such as risk control, approval, data credit enhancement, and operational management. They continuously iterate digital risk control models and full-process risk monitoring systems, improving their “technology-driven” evaluation methods; at the same time, they actively explore AI application scenarios, accelerate key projects like intelligent due diligence and review, and promote the enhancement of intelligent risk control capabilities.

Industrial Bank’s AI approach is not about creating flashy front-end interactions but about reshaping the bank’s core. It’s more like embedding AI into processes such as “commercial + investment banking,” industry finance, risk approval, and data credit enhancement, making the operational system faster, more accurate, and more replicable. Unlike some banks that emphasize intelligent customer service or digital avatars, Industrial Bank’s AI is more focused on “industry finance + risk control.”

Going Abroad: Some initiatives are being undertaken around corporate internationalization, overseas expansion of industrial chains, cross-border finance, and transaction banking capabilities.
