The General Administration of Customs released data on March 10 showing that in the first two months of 2026, the total value of China’s goods trade—imports and exports—reached 7.73 trillion yuan, with the year-on-year growth rate returning to double digits at 18.3%.

Of this, exports were 4.62 trillion yuan, up 19.2% year on year; imports were 3.11 trillion yuan, up 17.1%.

Overall, in the first two months, China’s foreign trade continued its trend of steady progress, with its resilience and vitality further highlighted.
