New lows again and again: The national float glass daily production continues to hit multi-year lows

This week, there have been no changes in the glass production line. As of March 26, the float glass industry’s operating rate is 70.41%, unchanged from the 19th; however, the capacity utilization rate has decreased by 0.56% week-on-week to 72.69%. The national daily output of float glass has dropped by 0.62% to 144,900 tons, and the total national production of float glass this week has decreased by 0.77% to 1,014,500 tons, which is 8.47% lower year-on-year.
