Since the outbreak of the conflict between the U.S. and Iran, oil prices have continued to rise, and more European consumers are starting to consider purchasing electric vehicles, with second-hand electric cars being particularly favored due to their lower prices and quicker delivery. Thayer Dahlgren, an analyst at Norway’s main second-hand car online sales platform Finn.no, stated that recently, electric vehicle sales have surpassed diesel vehicles in the second-hand car market, making second-hand electric cars the most popular model on the site. The Swedish online sales platform Blocket reported that in the first two weeks of March, electric vehicle sales increased by 11% compared to the previous two weeks, with a 17% increase in browsing volume. Germany’s largest online car trading platform mobile.de reported that since the beginning of March, the proportion of electric vehicles in user search queries on the site has risen from 12% to 36%.
