War Update: 158 Clashes On Front Lines In Past Day

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook in its update as of 08:00 on Thursday, March 26.

The enemy carried out 70 airstrikes, dropping 231 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 9,414 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,184 attacks, including 131 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian airstrikes targeted areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including Velykomykhailivka, Havrylivka, Pidhavrylivka, Kolomyitsi, Novoselivka, and Khrystoforivka. In the Zaporizhzhia region, strikes hit areas around Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Yehorivka, Shyroke, Kopani, Dolynka, Verkhnia Tersa, Kamianka, Voskresenka, Barvinivka, Novosoloshyne, Liubymivka, Veselianka, and Novooleksandrivka.

Ukraine’s aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck one UAV command post and eight areas where Russian personnel and equipment were concentrated.

In the ** Northern Slobozhanshchyna** and ** Kursk** sectors, the enemy carried out 89 attacks, including four with multiple launch rocket systems, and conducted one airstrike using four guided bombs. Three combat clashes were recorded.

In the ** Southern Slobozhanshchyna** sector, Russian forces attempted three times to break through Ukrainian defenses toward Starytsia, Zybyne, and Okhrimivka.

In the ** Kupiansk** sector, Russian troops launched four attacks toward Nova Kruhliakivka, Kurylivka, and Platonivka.

In the ** Lyman** sector, Russian forces attacked six times, attempting to penetrate defenses near Drobysheve, Lyman, Dibrova, and Kopanky.

In the ** Sloviansk** sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight attempts by Russian troops to advance near Zakytne, Riznykivka, Platonivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the ** Kramatorsk** sector, the enemy made one attempt to improve its position near Chasiv Yar.

In the ** Kostiantynivka** sector, Russian forces carried out 16 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Novopavlivka, and toward Illinivka and Toretske.

In the ** Pokrovsk** sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 44 assault actions near Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodnie, Molodetske, Horikhove, Svitłe, Novoserhiivka, and toward Novyi Donbas, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, and Shevchenko.

In the ** Oleksandrivka** sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions three times near Ternove, Oleksandrohrad, and Krasnohirske.

In the ** Huliaipole** sector, 17 Russian attacks were recorded near Huliaipole, Varvarivka, Olenokostiantynivka, and toward Zaliznychne and Myrne.

In the ** Orikhiv** sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders near Prymorske.

In the ** Dnipro River** sector, Russian forces carried out two assaults toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.

No signs of the formation of Russian offensive groupings were detected in the ** Volyn** and ** Polissia** sectors.
