The Ecological Environment Code is China's second law named with the title "Code."

Lou Qinjian, the spokesperson for the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, said that the Ecological Environment Code is China’s second law named as a “Code.” The compilation of this code is not simply a collection of laws, nor is it entirely new legislation. Instead, it is a systematic integration, editing, and refinement of existing ecological and environmental legal systems, mechanisms, and regulatory norms. (Xinhua News Agency)
