HongKongDoll: From NFT Victory to Scandal of Failed ETH and Wallet Going to Zero

In the world of Web3, there are controversial figures, and HongKongDoll is one of them. From making huge profits from NFTs in early 2022 to claiming she made 50 times ETH and earned 100 million dollars, to eventually facing rumors that her wallet balance is zero—her journey has been full of ups and downs in the never-sleeping world of cryptocurrency.

The Golden Era: NFTs and Azuki in 2022

In 2022, the NFT market was at its peak. In January, HongKongDoll appeared in the crypto community when she tweeted about buying large amounts of Azuki, a well-known blue-chip NFT project. This move immediately caused a stir on X (formerly Twitter), with comments like “Where’s the family?” and predictions about the project’s future.

Later, Azuki continued to rise in value. By April, the price of this NFT had increased from 3 ETH to 30 ETH—a tenfold increase in less than three months. HongKongDoll also tweeted that she used profits from Azuki to cover previous losses. However, her initial investment cost was up to $400,000, a significant amount that showed she had “gone all in” on this NFT run.

The Dangerous Game: Making 50 Times ETH

After initial success with NFTs, HongKongDoll started engaging in more complex derivatives trading. She revealed that she had shorted ETH 50 times at a price of $2,836.

On June 17, 2022, ETH crashed to nearly $1,000. This was the moment when shorting could have yielded huge profits. Rumors quickly spread through the community: some said HongKongDoll made over $100 million from this trade, and there were even claims she achieved “financial freedom.”

However, as questions arose, the crypto community grew cold toward HongKongDoll. She quickly responded that her short positions were only to protect her current holdings, and she did not make the huge profits that outside rumors suggested. Still, the rumors persisted, and community trust began to wane.

Comeback and Market Trend Monitoring

After the scandal, HongKongDoll continued to stay active in the crypto scene. She appeared and tweeted about market hot topics like BRC-20, Friend.Tech, and other emerging trends. However, her reputation was no longer what it used to be, as the community had become more skeptical.

Shock: Wallet Balance Drops to Zero

On November 3, 2022, HongKongDoll shocked everyone again by tweeting that her crypto wallet was essentially at zero. Immediately, the community started speculating: was her short position liquidated? Was her wallet hacked?

In the Friend.tech group, HongKongDoll said that “the situation is a bit complicated,” but did not reveal details. Nevertheless, the crypto community united to support her, looking for ways to comfort her.

The Future: OnlyFans and Recovery Plans

Fans concerned about HongKongDoll need not worry too much, as she still earns income from OnlyFans—a continuous money-making machine. Recently, HongKongDoll conducted a poll asking the community about reviving a certain adult website starting with “P,” which previously ranked top and had over 191 million visits.

This comeback could help her recover financially and continue her story in the crypto space. Currently, ETH is trading at around $2.14K (as of March 2026), a completely different level from when HongKongDoll was heavily involved in the market.
