Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 24 — According to official sources, Claude now supports controlling the user’s computer to complete tasks, including opening applications, browsing the web, filling out forms, and other desktop operations.

This feature is currently available as a research preview in Claude Cowork and Claude Code, and only supports macOS systems.

Claude will prioritize calling connected third-party applications (such as Slack, Calendar, etc.). When no corresponding connector is available, it will request user authorization to directly control applications on the screen.

Users can initiate task commands from their mobile devices, and Claude will complete them autonomously after they leave. It can also be set to perform regular tasks, such as scanning emails daily or generating reports every Friday. This feature is currently available to Pro and Max subscription users.
