OnlyFans Mysterious Boss Radwinspki Dies: Only 43 Years Old, Once Received $1.8 Billion in Massive Dividend
Phoenix Technology News, March 23 — According to The Wall Street Journal, Leo Radvinsky, the sole owner of the well-known content subscription platform OnlyFans, has passed away at the age of 43 after a long battle with cancer. As a key figure in reshaping the online adult content industry, Radvinsky has transformed the platform from an obscure UK-based video site into a global content giant that combines gig economy and social media features since acquiring it in 2018.
Under Radvinsky’s management, OnlyFans experienced explosive growth. According to UK company registration documents, the platform has surpassed 377 million users and generated $7.2 billion in revenue in the fiscal year ending November 2024. The platform attracts a large user base by enabling creators to connect directly with fans and profits by taking a 20% commission. With its rising performance, Radvinsky personally reaped substantial financial returns. Since 2021, the parent company of OnlyFans has paid him over $1.8 billion in dividends.
This billionaire, born in the Soviet Union and raised in Chicago, is low-profile and rarely appears publicly, but he has a keen business sense. As early as 1999, during his teenage years, he began engaging in early internet traffic and paid content businesses. It is reported that Radvinsky had been seeking to sell the platform; his parent company recently discussed selling a 60% stake at an estimated valuation of about $3.5 billion, down from a previous asking price of $8 billion. By the end of 2024, he had transferred his shares in the London-based parent company, Fenix International, to a foundation. During his lifetime, he and his wife also donated significant funds to charitable causes including gastrointestinal disease research and cancer research.
