Monster Beverage reported a significant increase in its fourth-quarter profit, reaching $449.2 million or 46 cents a share, up from $270.7 million a year earlier. This growth was primarily driven by a 19% sales increase in its Monster Energy Drinks segment, which includes popular brands like Monster, Reign, and Bang. All of the company’s segments, excluding alcoholic beverages, saw sales rise.
