Internal Slack messages from Live Nation employees, revealed in a Justice Department antitrust lawsuit, show them joking about “gouging” fans for parking and VIP upgrades, and calling them “so stupid” for paying inflated charges. Live Nation had attempted to exclude these messages from evidence, but the judge ordered their release. The company has since stated that these private remarks do not reflect its values and that leadership was unaware of them until their public disclosure.
