The chief reporter has learned that on March 16 local time, Spanish Defense Minister Llopis ruled out the possibility of Spain participating in a potential EU-led Strait of Hormuz operation. The proposed operation was suggested by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell, aiming to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. On the 16th, Llopis stated that Spain has coordinated with France and other EU member states to deploy a Cyprus defense mission, so Spain is not considering involvement in a military operation in the Strait of Hormuz. Llopis explained in detail that Spain calls for an immediate end to the war, as it is meaningless, violates international law, and has caused many deaths. (CCTV News)
