I interviewed 100 unfaithful men and finally discovered the truth behind their infidelity.

1. Poor intimate life in marriage.
Marital intimacy is as normal as eating and sleeping. When couples aren't sexually satisfied within marriage, men crave excitement outside. Many women devote all their energy to their children after having kids, leaving husbands with unmet physical needs and no energy from their wives to fulfill them. Over time, men will look elsewhere.

2. Poor relationship and constant arguments.
When a couple has a bad relationship, they fight about everything—from major issues like buying cars, houses, and renovations to trivial matters. This kind of marriage is exhausting for both sides. If there's a woman outside who is gentle, attentive, and interesting to talk to, infidelity seems like a natural consequence.

3. Many family conflicts.
Some couples have decent relationships initially, but family conflicts arise—mother-in-law issues, parent-child relationships, sister-in-law dynamics, and various complicated relationships. When the man comes home, all he hears are women's complaints, grumbling, and sighing. The oppressive home atmosphere makes him want to escape at any moment. In such situations, as long as there's a woman outside who makes him feel relaxed, infidelity is inevitable regardless of the couple's relationship quality.

4. Simply seeking thrills and wanting to play around.
The most heartbreaking reason is this: the couple has a good relationship and a pleasant home atmosphere, but the man is either momentarily foolish or tired of the regular meal and wants to taste something exotic, thus betraying the marriage. Divorce? He can't bear to let go. Continue? This hurdle seems impossible to overcome either way.
