Abstract generation in progress

Hekou Port is the largest land border crossing on the China-Vietnam border in Yunnan Province. Since the beginning of this year (as of 5:00 PM on February 26), the number of entries and exits at Hekou Port has reached 1.039 million, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%. It has become Yunnan Province’s first port of entry and exit to surpass one million in traffic this year. As China’s “friend circle” of visa-free travel continues to expand and cross-border tourism facilitation measures are further implemented, Hekou Port’s attractiveness continues to grow. Data shows that by 2025, personnel from over 90 countries and regions will pass through Hekou Port, with third-country travelers reaching 16,000. Since the beginning of this year, personnel from 53 countries and regions have passed through Hekou Port, an 11.9% increase compared to the same period last year. (CCTV News)
