# Underlying Diseases and Local Care for Premature Ejaculation

If premature ejaculation is caused by organic issues, the primary condition must be addressed first:

## 1. Genitourinary System Problems
If accompanied by frequent urination, urinary urgency, and perineal heaviness, it is likely prostatitis and requires timely medical treatment with standardized care (such as antibiotics or α-receptor blockers as prescribed). Premature ejaculation symptoms will significantly improve after inflammation subsides. Those with phimosis or prepuce redundancy may consider circumcision to reduce abnormal sensitivity caused by prolonged stimulation of the glans.

## 2. Local Desensitization Care
Gently cleanse the glans with warm water during non-sexual times to avoid excessive stimulation. Under medical guidance, low-concentration topical anesthetic (such as 2% lidocaine gel) may occasionally be applied in small amounts (must be washed off before sexual activity) to gradually reduce sensitivity (cannot be used long-term).

⚠️ **Note**

If symptoms do not improve after 1-3 months of management, or if accompanied by erectile dysfunction, ejaculation pain, or other issues, seek timely consultation at a qualified hospital's urology/andrology department to rule out hormonal imbalances, nerve conduction problems, and other conditions. Medication therapy (such as dapoxetine) may be necessary. Do not trust unproven remedies.
